Caretakers

Meet our Animal Caretakers

Robert Monroy

Robert and some little friends.

Robert practically grew up in an animal hospital.  He started going to work with his mom as a child at the Animal Medical Center and has been devoted to animal care ever since.  He started working at BHSAH in 2008 and is now our Kennel Manager.  Robert knows his clients by name, and our “regular” patients are always excited to see him.  He greets everyone with a smile and has become an important part of every department at the hospital.  He is in charge of all of the hospital food inventory and any special requests or orders go directly through him.  Robert hopes to expand his knowledge of animal care-taking, and attends continuing education seminars on various subjects, such as animal nutrition and nursing care.  He lives in Los Angeles with his big, sweet Rottweiler, Rexx.

Jennifer Corvino

Jen, Roxy, and Diamond.

Originally from New Jersey, Jen has been keeping the doggies and kitties at the hospital well fed and super comfortable since 2008.  She takes special care with each pet, making sure that they are happy during their stay at BHSAH.

Everyone at BHSAH knows that there is no better person to leave their pets with and she has quickly become the “go-to” girl when the other employees go out of town and want their pets to stay with the best.  She extends this same  care and love to the animals that board here at our hospital.  She truly spoils them with love and attention!

In addition to being an outstanding caretaker, Jen is also a certified trainer in canine behavior.  You can learn more about her in the Meet Our Trainer section, as well as her services in our Training section.
