Appointments/Walk-ins

We see clients mainly on a walk-in basis, yet are now able to offer a limited number of appointments, as well.

Walk-in Basics

Our walk-in wait time can get pretty long, so follow these guidelines to help make your walk-in visit as pleasant as possible.

1. The earlier, the better (usually): Walkins begin at 7:30am M-F. The closer you arrive to that time, the shorter your wait time will usually be. The same applies for our afternoon walk-ins, which begin at 2pm.

2. The Cut-Off: We cease accepting walk-in clients at 11:30amfor the morning shift, and 4:30pm for the afternoon shift.  You must be here before that time to be seen by the doctor.  Please also keep in mind that on extremely busy days, we may have to stop accepting clients at 11am and 4pm.

3. If you are a new client: It would be best to schedule an appointment with one of our doctors.   If you do come as a walk-in, you will need to sign in by 11am for morning walk-ins, or 4pm for afternoon walk-ins.

4. What if the wait is too long?: You have a couple options if the wait time is long:

-Most days, you have the option of dropping your pet off with us.  They will be seen by one of our doctors and you will be called with any questions, updates, or when they are ready to go home.

-If your pet does not need to be seen right away, you may want to schedule an appointment for later in the day or for a different day. 

-If you do decide to “wait it out,” we suggest taking a walk around the lovely neighborhood (don’t go too far!) or simply enjoying the other clients and their pets that are in the waiting room.  There is almost always something interesting happening at any given time there.
