Ichabod Ryan
Ichabod was a magical pony made of sparkles and love. His momma, Liz, and his brother, Mr Pig, will miss him dearly. He truly was the most special pony in the whole world.

Ten-month-old Gigi was rushed into our hospital by her very worried mom, today. She had been outside with GiGi a half-hour prior when suddenly GiGi collapsed. GiGi’s mom rushed her in and we immediately started treatment for anaphylactic shock–the most severe form of an allergic reaction. Anapha...

Thursday, December 22nd at 12:35 petURNity: personalized mosaic urn with photos and name Losing a pet is traumatic and we all look for help coping with the grief, which inspired me to transform an ordinary urn into an art object that celebrates the life of a beloved animal and allows us to keep the presence with us in the home. Working in the French mosaic style, pique assiette, I collaborate closely with my clients, who choose colors and provide photos of the animal as well as other meaningful items. I am reaching out to the pet community with the hope you will visit and "like" my Facebook page. Urns are ordered on my site, www.sybilsage.com. I appreciate your helping me make others aware of my work.

I love the Beverly Hills Small Animal Hospital! Amazing staff and the best service this side of the mississippi! I am eternally grateful for the love and care they have provided for my little pups. I can't thank you guys enough!!! <3
Thursday, November 3rd at 18:36 two happy and healthy pups thanks to you guys! thank you so much for your continued care for my dogs!
As a dog rescue person I've spent a lot of time in busy vet's offices. Beverly Hills Small Animal Hospital is by far the friendliest. I have been to some great vets but none as caring as Dr. Bellomo. I know that she also cares for rescues and has a huge heart along with her expertise.
Thanks BHSAH and Melanie Bellomo for saving Cali. She had a terrible ear infection that we didn't even know was there, and was in a lot of pain. Now she's happy and back to her old self!
BHSAH is a great hospital with a wonderful and caring staff. I have seen first hand how loving and compassionate they are!
I just want to tell you how much I appreciate how well you took care of my family when we had to put our dog to sleep. You guys treated us so kindly and your compassion is so genuine. It's not often that people can find a vet hospital that they trust.... But we found that in you!! Thank you again for all your services!!
Best. Animal. Hospital. Ever. I honestly don't know what I'd do without you guys. I'm eternally grateful for the stellar service and excellent care for Boosty, Waylon and their crazy owner. ;)
Mel and the whole team at Beverly Hills Animal Hospital are amazing. The generosity, service and care is extraordinary and any pet coming through their doors will leave purring or woofing with happiness. Thank you for everything BHSAH. You are the best
My 4 kitties and frenchie Phoebe love Dr. Winters and Suehiro and the staff! Keep up the good work all of you do.
Melanie from BHSMAH saved my two kittens from death. A few years ago Chris Holmes and I adopted two little kittens from a shelter and after they were spayed by that shelter they started to get sicker and sicker. It was to the point that these little babies were dying. We took them to one animal hospital, which the vet told us that there was nothing they could do and the only option was to put them to sleep. We refused to believe that was the only option. Somehow our paths crossed with Melanie's from BHSMAH and she saved our little kittens from death. She was so sweet and understanding to our situation. She did everything she could to save those little kittens. Even answered late night text messages about our kittens. If we hadn't met her I truly believe the kittens won't be here. She has also helped me so much with my dog as well. Seriously, the people at BHSMAH are amazing and I'm so thankful for their help, especially Melanie's help. Thank you so much! :)
this is the best animal hospital and vets I've ever been to. They saved the life of two of my kittens and gave them such amazing care, after two other vets told me I should put them down and just get new kittens. I love them, they are lifesavers and some of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure to work with it
I have a long 20 yr history with BHSAH, the doctors feel like family and Melanie has been my personal angel who has come to the rescue in the very worst of times and continues to currently be there every day during the best of times. She has known, loved and cared for the cats I've had, and loves and cares for the cats I have today. The hospital has been there each and every time I've needed them...and I've needed them. I continue to be grateful for their care.
Wednesday, November 2nd at 9:46 Noodles is a strong healthy boy because of the care he received as a kitten. His feral mom would also like to thank Ford for treating and spaying her!
Thank you so much for taking care of my kitty cat francis, we both appreciate it so much!
Wednesday, November 2nd at 9:42 my dog teddy loves going to BHSAH because he gets amazing care and gets to see his true love Melanie
My black Beezy HATES the vet more than anything. But Melanie and her fabulous crew put him at ease and fixed him up in no time. Beezy told me to ONLY take him to BHSAM from now on.
I take both of my dogs to the beverly hills small animal hospital and have gotten the best care. Dr. Winters has personally called me every time to give me updates on my dogs. Everyone there is nice, friendly and goes above and beyond for both of my babies.
I took Snickers here and not only did they save his life but the staff was so friendly. Snickers and myself BOTH got treats on the way out. Snickers says thanks!
Took our 10 year old wiener dog to get neutered and lump removed and they found a cancer mass and removed that too! gave my dog another 10 years probably! my whole family thanks them!!
Hey, thanks for saving my dog's life. Melanie is THE BEST!
When called again, they wanted the consumer affairs to call them, which they are in the process of (they have paperwork to file first) and they as well forward to the California Veterinary Board, who has already contacted me. They are NOT taking this situation lightly and told me there are other complaints which at first surprised me, but after thinking how they treated us, why should it? If I could, I would pay each and every one of you to go elsewhere.
We wanted to hospice her with the help of who we thought was a compassionate, caring doctor who has still refused to return my calls that I have been making since Thursday.I beg all of you out there to look elsewhere. There are places that are 100% compassionate, where the mighty buck isn't the sole reason behind the practice. Places that care about the animal and owner and are there 24/7 when needed - like they told me, does a dog know to get sick between 7-5 Monday-Friday.
If you really love your animals and aren't a Housewife of Beverly Hills who they allow into their offices when people are there for medical care, not entertainment, you'll be pushed aside. You would think that there would be some loyalty to patients of 45 years plus, as well as recommending at least a dozen patients. I am so blown away that they didn't care that an animal was in distress and dying. They gave me a number to call, a dog ambulance which I called and was asked if I had an appointment to have them take her to and I said I was given this number by the Beverly Hills Small Animal Hospital but they were booked and told me not to bother (yes, those words) to bring her in. The ambulance service then told me that meant to them that they would come euthanize our animal and dispose of the remains. Horrific answer. We were begging for help to make our animal not to suffer not asking someone to come to my home to KILL her.
FYI -- ALL PATIENTS - the Veterinary Medical Board of California is doing an investigation on these people. Sadly do to their untruths and failure to give the file of a dying animal to another vet is causing this investigation as well as a legal suit forthcoming. We used to love Dr Winters, but unfortunately he seems to have been ill and now back, is a different person. They misdiagnosed several friends animals and they are in the investigation and legal proceedings as well.
here's something special i bet they don't offer here! KEN JONES FULL SERVICE ANIMAL RIGHTS HOSPITAL. 1708 17th st Santa Monica, 310 477 4400. Any needful rescue recently pulled from any shelter with paperwork may have digital x-rays, an in house fecal, and a skin scraping at N/C. 7 days a week
tell dr winters that maggie will most likely be in heaven when he gets in on monday morning. no need to bring her in any longer. jackie, thank you for giving him my hysterically crying messages, this was the first time in over 40 years i didn't get a call back. i know now where never to go again. i also need maggies files (complete) ready asap to be picked up to give to our new vet. we were told that by law they belong to us. either call me or email me when to send someone to pick them up.
