This sweet mama was dumped at the pound. Not only was she given up at the peak of her golden years, when she should be at her most happy and stable, but she was also pregnant. All her puppies have found homes, and now Pebbles is in a foster home and looking for a mama of her own. A total sweetheart and still full of life. She is about 11 years old.

Losing a pet is traumatic and we all look for help coping with the grief, which inspired me to transform an ordinary urn into an art object that celebrates the life of a beloved animal and allows us to keep the presence with us in the home.
